Together with its partner SERBAN DC, Bauwens is developing a modern data center facility on a land area spanning approximately 26,181 m² in Cologne-Porz. The site on August-Horch-Straße, with a planned grid connection capacity of up to 90 MVA, offers optimal conditions for operating high-performance digital infrastructure.
The plan is to build two data centers in two consecutive construction phases. The site is expected to make a significant contribution to meeting the growing demand for computing capacity and to strengthen the region’s digital infrastructure in the long term.
With this project, Bauwens is entering the data center development segment for the first time, thereby expanding its portfolio with a future-oriented infrastructure component. At the same time, the development helps further strengthen the Rhineland region as an attractive location for technology-driven investments and digital value creation.
