The ambitious Arche-Noah-Quartier residential development is being built in the Düsseltal district of Düsseldorf. Bauwens is constructing around 11,000 square meters of living space here for the Düsseldorf housing cooperative, divided into 138 two- to five-room apartments. forty-five percent of the apartments are publicly subsidized. What makes it special is that it is the largest apartment complex in North Rhine-Westphalia to be built using a hybrid timber construction method. A photovoltaic system also covers a large part of the tenants' electricity needs.
