A new residential development is being built in Cologne-Weidenpesch on a 5,169-square-meter site. The project will include 69 two- to four-room apartments, 26 of which are publicly subsidized by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia to create affordable housing. In addition, 59 underground parking spaces and nine bicycle parking spaces will be built.
Construction is scheduled to begin at the end of the first quarter of 2025, with completion of the new complex expected in the summer of 2027. The land was previously home to a carpentry shop with warehouses.
This project will play a key role in improving the quality of life and enhancing the appeal of the Cologne-Weidenpesch area.
The client is Kölner Wohnungsgenossenschaft eG.
