AERA Berlin: a flagship project that blends work, life, technology, and nature. The eight-story office complex, located right next to the Spree River, offers 12,000 square meters of modern office space that can be flexibly divided into up to 24 units. This innovative spatial concept was designed to meet the changing demands of the modern workplace.
The high-quality façade and flexible floor plans allow for customized use of the spaces, from law firms to startups. Architectural highlights include the spacious foyer with ceilings over six meters high, as well as the continuous panoramic glazing—over five meters wide—in the conference areas at the southern tip.
The project is rounded out by a green rooftop garden, which contributes to an improved urban climate. Spanning a total of 2,200 square meters, it forms an impressive green backdrop above the city’s rooftops. The accessible rooftop garden not only offers a place of retreat for tenants but also sequesters a total of approximately five metric tons of CO2 per year thanks to its nearly 25 different plant species and trees up to 12 meters tall. By integrating nature and the workplace, AERA Berlin becomes a model project for future-oriented urban development.
