On the approximately 22,000-square-meter land between Konrad-Adenauer-Straße, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, and Bahnstraße in Cologne-Rodenkirchen, a vibrant apartment complex has taken shape as Construction Site 3 of the Waldviertel development. The project comprises 13 residential buildings with a total of 272 one- to five-room apartments, a daycare center with three groups, and two commercial units.
The complex was developed by Bauwens Development and Convalor, while construction was carried out by Bauwens Construction.
A particular highlight is the spacious, landscaped central courtyard with a playground, which serves as a gathering place for all neighborhood residents. The apartments are barrier-free and equipped with modern amenities such as digital lock systems and a central package locker. A dedicated combined heat and power plant ensures an efficient heat supply, and the underground parking garage features charging stations for electric cars.
