Located right in the heart of Berlin, not far from the Friedrichstadt-Palast and the Spree River, is this office building, constructed on a 7,350-square-meter site. The existing building, dating from 1900, was revitalized in the style of its historic predecessor and expanded to include a modern rear wing with open-plan workspaces. This not only restored Berlin’s traditional courtyard development but also created 5,400 square meters of leasable space.
The fusion of the old building’s charm and the new building’s comfort was central to this project. What makes the project unique is a skywalk that connects the old building to the new one and serves as an access structure. The terrace, with a wonderful view directly into the greenery—specifically, the Charité’s garden complex—invites you to relax amid the hustle and bustle of the city.
The Oranienburger Tor subway station is right on the doorstep, and the Friedrichstraße S-Bahn station is just a few minutes’ walk away. From there, the main train station—with extensive national and international connections—can be reached in just a few minutes.
Construction was completed in May 2024.
