    With the construction of a state-of-the-art logistics center in Cologne-Marsdorf, Bauwens Development is setting new standards in efficiency, sustainability, and future viability with this development project for DHL Express Germany. A business location with around 5,500 square meters of production and office space, equipped with a high-performance sorting facility, is being built on a site covering more than 20,000 square meters., a new operating site with around 5,500 square meters of production and office space is being built, equipped with a high-performance sorting system for up to 6,000 shipments per hour and three PUD fingers for 96 delivery vehicles.

    The building is fully designed for the electrification of the vehicle fleet and will be equipped with a 350 kWp photovoltaic system, a heat pump, and a green roof with biodiversity modules. The targeted DGNB Gold certification and EU taxonomy compliance underscore the project's high ecological standards. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2026.
