With the completion of the third construction phase, the apartment complex "meinraum München West" in Munich-Lochhausen is continuing to take shape. Over the past two and a half years, a total of 122 new units have been built, comprising 8,744 square meters of living space. The new construction project by real estate company Bauwens is part of the neighborhood development in Munich's Aubing-Lochhausen-Langwied district and focuses on modern, individual living comfort and a high quality of life. The project was developed by Bauwens Development and carried out by its sister company Bauwens Construction.

Attractive residential properties and innovative architecture

The new apartments offer one- to four-room floor plans and are therefore suitable for families as well as singles or couples. Each apartment has a terrace, loggia, or balcony, some of which offer views of the green inner courtyards or the surrounding farmland. A grid on the facades creates spacious, covered outdoor areas that can be used as additional living space.

A highlight of this construction phase is the spacious, landscaped inner courtyard with an integrated playground – the largest and greenest in the entire complex. Residents also have access to bicycle storage rooms and an underground car park. The public green space with play and sports facilities, which was recently opened, offers added value for the entire neighborhood. The infrastructure of the complex is also developing positively: a municipal daycare center has already opened, and a new Edeka supermarket has opened for residents in the immediate vicinity.

Sustainable and energy-efficient construction

All buildings meet the BEG 55 efficiency standard and thus contribute to climate-friendly construction. Photovoltaic systems have been installed on the roofs, and the electricity they generate is made available directly to residents via a tenant electricity model. In addition, a combined heat and power plant ensures a low-CO2 heat supply.

"The third construction phase is an important milestone in the development of the neighborhood and was completed on schedule despite the current challenging times. With the handover of the apartments, the complex is now providing an important impetus for the development of the infrastructure in Lochhausen and the west of Munich," says Lucien Schüller, Division Manager at Bauwens Development Munich.

With the completion of this construction phase, three quarters of the "meinraum München West" project has now been successfully completed. The handover of the finished residential units to their future residents has recently begun.
