Bauwens sells last house in Greenpark apartment complex to Berlinovo

Bauwens is pleased to announce the successful sale of the last residential building in the Greenpark apartment complex in Berlin-Neukölln. The property at Buschkrugallee 64 was acquired by the state-owned Berlinovo Immobilien Gesellschaft mbH.
Greystar Real Estate Partners had already acquired buildings 1-14 in February 2024 as part of a forward purchase deal. With the sale of house 15, the last building in the project has now been sold. Bauwens Development is responsible for the project development. Goldbeck is responsible for the turnkey construction.
102 subsidized apartments and a daycare center
With 758 residential units already sold in buildings 1 to 14, building 15 adds a further 102 subsidized apartments to the complex. In addition, a daycare center with capacity for over 100 children is being built, which has already been rented and will further enhance the family-friendliness of the neighborhood.
"The successful completion of this sale underscores the attractiveness and importance of the Greenpark project. Given the current challenges in the housing market, it is by no means a given that subsidized housing on this scale will be realized. Greenpark shows that it is possible to actively counteract this demand. We are confident that this complex will make an important contribution to the city," says Clemens Stahr, Managing Partner of Bauwens Development Berlin.

The Greenpark apartment complex is being built on a site covering around 30,000 square meters, which was previously home to the Blub water park. A total of 860 one-, two-, and three-room apartments with approximately 36,000 square meters of living space are being built. The offer is complemented by communal areas such as a fitness and yoga studio, play areas, and a padel and basketball court. Both outdoor and underground parking spaces will be available for future residents. The complex is scheduled for completion in spring 2026 using serial construction methods.
Bauwens was advised on the sale by Knight Frank and Loschelder Rechtsanwälte.
